Kathleen O. Ridnak, 72, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 17, 2023 at Roosevelt Care Center in Edison.

Kathy was born in New Brunswick, one of four daughters to the late Stephen and Olga Nahai Ridnak, and was a lifelong resident of Edison.  She was a lover of life and appreciated everything she was able to enjoy.  She was a kind-hearted soul who placed everyone else's feelings first before her own and always had a kind word for everyone she met. Kathy especially loved her family, cherishing all the occasions they were able to spend time together. She liked fashion, and delighted in the times she was able to dress nicely and wear her beads! One of the more memorable things we will all miss is her incredible punctuality with sending birthday cards.  We always got one, and it was always on time!

We will all miss Kathy, and have a special deep place in our hearts for her, always.

Kathy is survived by her three sisters: Janice Boyler, her husband Douglas, Donna Swisher, and Diane Rouse and her husband Cedrick.  She also leaves her five nieces and nephews and five great-nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., on Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 2:00pm – 6:00pm, where funeral services will begin on Monday, July 24, 2023 at 10:00am. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30am in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Fords. Entombment will take place in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
