Kathleen Readie (nee:Cain), 73, of Hopelawn, passed away on November 13, 2016 at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick.

Born in Kearny, she resided in Hopelawn since 1985.

Kathleen was a communicant of Holy Spirit and St. James Churches.

She was a graduate of Kearny High School in 1961.

Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, Henry, in 2000 and her brother, Stephen Cain.

Surviving are her children, Christopher of Hopelawn, Kevin and his wife Aimee of Hampton, Keith of Hopelawn and Colleen of Hopelawn; also, her grandchildren, Bryce, Ava, Tristan, her brother, Charles Cain, her sister, Rose Mary Callinan, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 9:45 AM on Thursday, November 17, 2016, at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords. A Funeral Liturgy will be said at 10:30 AM at St. James RC Church, Woodbridge; interment to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Viewing will be Wednesday 6-9 PM.
