Kathleen (St. George) Ivory, 64, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend.

Kathy was born on January 22, 1960 in New York City, NY to Joseph and Katie St. George, both of whom preceded her in death. She graduated from St Alphonsus High School in 1977 and later moved to Edison, NJ where she married the father of her two sons (Richard Ivory Jr) and they raised their family. She moved to Indiana in 2017 to be with her grandchildren. She worked as a bookkeeper and cashier until she became ill. Kathy was an avid bingo player and a puzzle enthusiast. She enjoyed watching game shows, spending time with her family, and most importantly with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Joseph Ivory and wife Johnna, Richard Ivory III and wife Kari; grandchildren Alyssa, Calvin, and Eloise; siblings Mario St. George and wife Maria, Ida St. George, and Joseph St. George; her partner Anthony Alvarino; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. All of whom she loved dearly. Kathy was a kind soul who had an impact on everyone she met, and her absence leaves a hole in the hearts of many.

There will be a memorial visitation for Kathy on Friday, May 17, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave, Metuchen.  Inurnment will take place privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations in Kathy's name be made to The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN).
