Kathleen Ann Geraghty, 60, of Toms River, formerly of Metuchen, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021.

Born and raised in New Brunswick, Kathleen was a 1978 graduate of East Brunswick Vo-Tech. Kathleen was an extremely talented cake decorator, having created some incredible designs for weddings, showers, birthdays, and all occasions. She was devoted to her career as a Bakery Manager and Cake Decorator, having worked for Food Scene, Wakefern, Salson's Bakery in Metuchen and most recently, Advantage Waypoint in Colts Neck. Kathleen was extremely hard-working throughout her life, as she also waitressed and taught cake decorating at the local school. As a teenager, she had a passion for speed skating and she maintained her constant love for the beach and boardwalk, especially in Point Pleasant. Kathleen was happiest spending time at family gatherings, shopping with her best friend, and having lunch with her sisters.  She especially enjoyed time with her adorable grandchildren.

Kathleen is predeceased by her father, John Geraghty and his wife Frances and by her mother Maura Tierney and her husband Jim.

Loving mother of Todd Taylor and wife Ellen, Wade Taylor and Daniel Taylor. Cherished grandmother of Rory and Jack Taylor. Devoted sister of Margaret Brozyna and husband John and Tricia Cottrell and husband Dan. Caring aunt of Danny Cottrell, Dylan Cottrell, Kayla Daudelin and husband Sean and Keri Brozyna. Cherished best friend of 50 years of Kathy Keller and husband Steve.

Family and friends may visit Friday, 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen. Private cremation will follow.
