Katherine Gonzalez-Schlimer, 67 of Edison, passed away on May 22, 2024 at home. She was born in New York City on February 10, 1957. Katherine was a Toll Collector for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority in Woodbridge. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. She was a loving Mother and a young hearted grandma, they called "mamita". Katherine (aka Kitty) enjoyed music, dancing, bingo and spending time with family and her friends at the St. Paul Apostle Senior Residence.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Amoura M. Schlimer.

Katherine is survived by two sons: Jesus Morales, of Winfield Park, and Isaias K. Schlimer, of Perth Amboy NJ; three grandchildren: Amoralisha and Elias Guzman, and Ezekiel Silie.

Memorial visitation will be on Saturday, June 8, 2024, 1-3:00 pm, and a service will be held a 3:00 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863.
