Katelyn Maria Regazzini of South Amboy passed away at HMH Raritan Bay Medical in Perth Amboy on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. She was 33.

Katelyn was called “the informant” by family members. She was known for her sneaker collection, black t-shirts, tchotchkes, and Funko Pop figurines. Her favorite movies were Scream, Terifier, the Grinch and the actor Michael Meyers. A fan of Dunkin Donuts, she had a great love for animals, family and was a caregiver to Nana.

Surviving are her mother, Rebecca and stepfather Peter Marinello; brother, Anthony Marinello; grandparents: Eve Berwanger, Kenneth Berwanger aka Papa Smurf, Susan Berwanger, and Daryl Regazzini. Also surviving are aunts & uncles: Kim and her husband Tom Prussack, Jodi Regazzini, Steven Regazzini, Gina and her husband Scott Kruysman, Craig Regazzini and his wife Jessica, Randy Breece and Jason Breece-Nugent. Katelyn also leaves many cousins including Christopher Sepcsik, Erica Chapdelaine, Amanda Regazzini, Kameron Regazzini, Mia Kruysman, Jaymee Morik, Scott Kruysman Jr., Alica Regazzini, Nora Regazzini; and best friend, Bethany Mansfield.

Katelyn was predeceased by her father, Edward Joseph Regazzini Jr.; grandfather, Edward Regazzini; uncles: Todd Regazzini, Earl Breece, and aunt Tammy Regazzini.

Family and friends may visit at Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Homes, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Cremation is private.
