Karen J. Pikus, 75, a lifelong resident of Perth Amboy, NJ, passed away at the St. Martha Center in Downingtown, PA, on March 5, 2022. She was born on April 23, 1946. Karen was a Teacher/Bus Aide in the Special Education Department of the James J. Flynn School in Perth Amboy when she retired in 2013 after over 20 years of service. She was a graduate of St. Mary's High School, Perth Amboy, Class of 1964. Karen was a lifelong member of Holy Spirit Church where she belonged to the Altar Rosary Society, the Ladies Sodality and the Seniors Club.

She married Henry Pikus on Sept 23, 1972 who passed away in June 1999 after 26 years of marriage.

Karen is survived by a brother, Ronald A. Krilla, and his wife, Judith, of West Chester, PA; two nephews, Jeffrey Krilla of Mclean, VA, Kenneth Krilla of Belmont, MA and a niece, Suzanne (nee Krilla) Clancy of Malvern, PA and many, many cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, March 11, 2022, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ, 08863, 7-9 pm. Funeral services will begin Saturday 10:30 am at the funeral home followed by an 11 am Funeral Liturgy at Holy Rosary Church of Good Shepard Parish on Florida Grove Road, Hopelawn, NJ. Interment will be Monday, April 11, 2022, at 11 am in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Fords, NJ.
