Karen Hartel Dzubina, 63, of Piscataway, passed peacefully with the love of her family at her side, on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick.

She was born in Perth Amboy, raised in Piscataway, moved to Colonia, in 1978, returning back to Piscataway to stay, in 1999.

Karen was a graduate of Piscataway High School, with the class of 1970 and Glassboro State College with the Class of 1974.

An avid reader, she also enjoyed gardening, baking and traveling and was a huge animal lover.

Karen leaves behind her beloved husband of 38 years, Michael Dzubina and her beloved daughter, Meredith K. Dzubina, her dear brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Susan Dzubina of Clifton and her two nephews, Thomas Dzubina of Woodbridge and David and his wife, Dominique Dzubina of Robbinsville, her dear Goddaughter, Kelly Tuma of Manchester and her dearest friend Tina Dzubina.



Visitation will be on Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral services will be on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. from the Flynn and son Funeral Home. A private cremation will follow.
