Katie Laico, 20, of Point Pleasant, NJ, died on December 16, 2012, at the Ocean County Medical Center. Prior to her move to Point Pleasant four years ago, Katie lived in Edison. She was the Valedictorian of her graduating class at Mother Seaton High School. After graduation, she attended George Washington University and NJIT. She was a member of the Society of Women Engineers.

Katie is survived by her parents, Joe and Noreen Laico of Pt. Pleasant; sister, Brittany Laico, of Pt. Pleasant; grandmother, Adele Laico, of Lakeside, CA; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace in Fords. Entombment will be in the Fairview Mausoleum in Red Bank, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
