June Irene Cooper's Obituary
June Irene Cooper, 86, passed away on June 3, 2014 at JFK Medical Center, Edison.
She was born in Spencerville, Ohio and resided in Metuchen since 1967.
June was a bus driver for the Metuchen Board of Education for 15 years before retiring in 2013. She was a very active member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Sunday School Superintendent, member of the choir and bell choir.
June was predeceased by her husband Harry in 1981 and her son John in 1997. Surviving are her sons: Mark of Metuchen, Matthew of Jackson; her daughters: Merry Muscarella of Salisbury, NC, Amy Wiebusch of Drummond, WI, Jill Weber of Sayreville and Susan Saggau of Sayreville; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren Also surviving are her sisters: Joy Baughman of Butler, IN and Mary-Lou Lehnert of Bowling Green, Ohio.
Services will be held 9 AM on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords with funeral services at 9:30 AM at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fords. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Metuchen. Viewing will be Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 28 South Fourth St. Fords, NJ 08863
