Julio Ruiz's Obituary
Julio C. Ruiz, 70, of Port Reading, passed away on November 15, 2015, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. He was born May 14, 1945, in Callao, Peru. Julio was an Accountant while residing in Peru. Then he worked as a Jeweler here for Consumers in Edison. He loved sports; he was a fan of the: Jets, Mets, Knicks, Barcelona soccer and the Sportboys soccer club from Callao, Peru. Julio had a great sense of humor and loved Salsa dancing.
He was predeceased by his father, Eliseo Ruiz; brother, Eduaro Ruiz; and a sister, Elisa Wong.
Julio is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rosa Maria Ruiz, of Port Reading; two daughters, Maria Rubinski and her husband, Carl, of Port Reading, and Maria Veronica Avilez and her husband, Alejandro, of Woodbridge; mother, Nicolaza Ruiz, of Milwaukee, WI; four grandchildren: Carl Jr, Bruno, Marcello and Gianfranco; brother, Javier Ruiz, and sister, Gladys Ruiz both of Milwaukee, WI.
Visitation will be Friday 4-8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861. Funeral services will begin, Saturday at 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Perth Amboy. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
