Obituary

Julia M. (nee: Festagallo) Nalepa, 91, of Metuchen, passed peacefully, with the love of her family at her side, on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the JFK Medical Center in Edison,
Born in Irvington, she was a long time resident of Metuchen.
She retired 10 years ago, from the Department of Motor Vehicles, working as a receptionist at the Kilmer and Edison Offices for over 20 years.
She was member of the Italian American Club, and the Democratic Club, both of Metuchen, and the Boy Scouts Mothers Club, Troop 52, of Fords.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter Nalepa, and her sibliings, Louise DeMartino, Ann Hadley and Richard Festagallo.
She leaves behind, her six beloved children, William J. Moyle, his wife Paula, Richard Nalepa, his wife Maryann, all of Metuchen, Nancy Skibo, her husband Michael, of Perth Amboy, James Nalepa, his wife Laura, of Woodbridge, Paul Nalepa of Fords and Mary Nalepa of Perth Amboy.
15 Grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren, her sister, Margret Worshinski of Fords, and her brother, Vincent Festagallo and wife Beatrice of Union.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 16, 2021, from 4-7 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 10 a.m. at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
