Judith (Judy) Sharon Mieszkalski (nee Prang), 74, of Monroe Township, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at JFK Haven Hospice on September 1, 2016.  Born in Perth Amboy, she resided in Edison before to her move to Monroe Twp 18 years ago.  She was a graduate of Woodbridge High School, Class of 1960 and the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC.  Prior to retirement, Judith was employed by JC Penney at Woodbridge Center as a Supervisor in the Jewelry and Watch Repair Department.  In her free time, she enjoyed needlepoint, playing Bingo and going to Atlantic City.  Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren, and always being there for family members in need.

Judith was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Benjamin Mieszkalski, in 2011 and her sister, Barbara Prang.

She is survived by her loving children: son, Glenn Mieszkalski, MD and his wife, Linda, of Lititz, PA; and daughters, Kimberley Casey and her husband, Patrick, of Middletown, NJ, and Kelly Mieszkalski of Durham, NC; and her three beloved grandchildren: Lauren, Matthew and Jack.

Funeral services will be held at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863 on Tuesday at 8:30 am followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords.  Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00-8:00 pm.  Interment will be in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Fords.
