Judith L. Lance, 69, of North Brunswick, passed away on July 30, 2023, at St. Peter's Medical Center, New Brunswick.  She was born in Perth Amboy on September 24, 1953, to Anthony and Lillian Lance.  She lived in Hopelawn before moving to North Brunswick in 1997.  Judy was an Accountant with World Wide Apparel, Sayreville and retired in 2008.  She enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida to visit relatives and friends.  She also enjoyed going to casinos.

Judy's fun-loving, outgoing nature was evident to all who knew her. Smart, sassy and opinionated, she certainly knew how to light up a room with her presence. One thing was for certain with Judy: you never had to guess what she thought about anything! A true battler, she fought against Cancer for 33 years, right up to the end. Judy was the living, breathing embodiment of the phrase "Tough as Nails."

Judy was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Lillian Lance and her brother, Gerard Lance.

Judy is survived by her husband, Gary L. Johnson of 23 years; her brother, Anthony Lance Jr. and his wife, Denise; her nephews, Christian and Julian Lance; and her four fur-babies, Ebony, Midnight, Zoey and Charlie at home.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023, from 4:00-8:00 PM, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords.  A prayer service will be held at 7:30 PM.  Cremation will follow privately.
