Judith Ann Koop, 85, of Hopelawn, NJ, passed peacefully, at home, with the love of her family at her side, on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

She was born on October 18, 1940, in Perth Amboy, NJ and had resided in Hopelawn section of Woodbridge Twp for the last 58 years.

She was a graduate of Woodbridge High School, with the “Class of 1958”.

She retired many years ago as the Office Manager for Ramtech, Inc in South Plainfield, NJ where she had worked for many years.

She was a long time active member of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Perth Amboy, and was an avid bowler on several leagues back in the 70's and 80's.

Judith was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Koop, who died in 1969; her parents, Clifford R Herman, who died in 1990, and Laverne Halbert Herman, who died in 1986; along with her sister, Susanne Cumber, who died in 2018.

She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Kathleen J Fengya and her husband Robert with whom she had resided , and her only grandchild, Aidan; her sister Karen Crowe and her husband Kenneth of Rahway, NJ; her sister Joyce Sieber and her husband Daniel of Williamstown NJ; andmany nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Private graveside services will take place on Thursday October 15, 2026 at Alpine Cemetery in Perth Amboy and funeral arrangements where entrusted to the care of the Flynn and Son / Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.
