Obituary

Judith A. DeSilvestro (nee: Demko), 79, of East Brunswick, passed away on September 15, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
She was born in Queens, NY and had resided in East Brunswick since 1981.
Judith was employed as a forklift operator for 20 + years with Rexan Beverage Can Company (formerly American Can) in Dayton, retiring in 2001. She was a devoted member of St. Bartholomew's RC Church in East Brunswick, volunteered her time with Meals on Wheels and Interfaith. She was an avid reader and a devoted fan of Cleveland Indians.
Judith was predeceased by her husband John, in 2015.
Surviving are her sons: Joseph Hansell of South Amboy, Daniel Hansell, and his wife, Debbie of Piscataway, John DeSilvestro and companion, Sharon of South Amboy; her daughters: Cindy Pisani and her husband, Frank of Emerson, Susan Knowles and her husband, Ken of Helmetta, Deborah Wilcox and her husband, Keith of South Amboy, Jan Aszman and her husband, Gary of Somerset ; her grandchildren: Kenny, Jennifer, John, James, Shannon, Heather, Ian, Frankie and Alyssa; and her 5 great-grandchildren and her beloved dog Chipper.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018, 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home 23 Ford Ave., Fords. A funeral service will be at 10 AM on Monday with a 10:30 funeral liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Interment will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
