Juan Enrique Vargas Nieves, 39, of Perth Amboy, passed away on August 25, 2018 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division.
He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and had resided in Perth Amboy since 1990.
Juan was a roofer for 8 years with Dignity Roofing in Edison.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Elba and Valentin Garcia; his son, John Alexander Vargas; his daughter, Alexa Vargas; brothers, Luis and Omar Vargas; sister, Elba Vargas; his companion of many years, Alexandra Rodriguez, and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be at 10 AM on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave., Perth Amboy. Interment will follow at Alpine Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
