Joyce (Ryals) Dudics passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at City Hospital in Martinsburg, WV. She was 87 years old.

Born in Newville/Dothan, Alabama, Joyce was a resident of Edison for 57 years. Joyce was employed by the Township of Edison for 33 years before retiring as Registrar in 1991. After retiring, Joyce became a Target Team Member in the Menlo Park store in 1997. She retired once again in 2004. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace RC Church.

Joyce is predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Teddy (Theodore, 1998). She is survived by her two daughters: Particia J Vacca and son-in-law Robert of Homosassa, FL, and Susan Dudics-Dean and son-in-law Rick of Martinsburg WV; two grandchildren: Jennifer Ann of Florida and Merissa Joyce of West Virginia; and three great-grandchildren: Amanda Michelle, Katelyn Marie, and Nicholas Robert also of Florida.

Joyce was a current member of the Menlo Park Mall Walkers, Edison Senior Citizens Club, Edison Senior Social Club and Senior Line Dancers. Past associations included Business and Professional Women, Clara Barton Fire Station Ladies Auxilliary and Young Democrats of Edison.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011, at 10:00 AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace RC Church, Fords. Interment will be in Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.
