Josephine Stempinski, 95, of Keasbey, passed away on October 6,2024 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. She was born in Carteret on September 22, 1929. Josephine was a Homemaker, after her children were grown, she went to work making graphic clothes for many years. Josephine spent years caring for her husband, Walter.  She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords and enjoyed dancing, bingo and cooking.

Josephine was predeceased by her husband, Walter Stempinski in 1990, a brother, Thomas Gullatto, and two sisters, Maty Krupa and Antoinette Pawol.

She is survived by two sons, Stephen Stempinski, and his wife, Shirley, of Metuchen, Dennis Stempinski, and his wife, Ann, of South Amboy; four grandchildren: Michael, Daniel, Emily and Matthew; a close companion, Diana; two great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Annie Mae and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 4-8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin Thursday, 9:30 am, at the funeral home followed by a 10: am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church. Interment will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery in Keasbey.
