Josephine Marie Berezney, 83, of Menlo Park Terrace, died Sunday, May 23, 2010, at her home. She was born in the Down Neck section of Newark, and she had resided in the Menlo Park Terrace section of Woodbridge for the last 55 years.

She was a graduate of Newark's East Side High School, Class of 1944. She had been employed for more than 25 years with Pacon Manufacturing Corporation of South Plainfield before retiring in 1986. She was a communicant of St.Cecilia's RC Church in Iselin. She was also an avid bingo player.

She is predeceased by her late husband Andrew, who died in 1999, and her two brothers. She is survived by her son, Andrew P. Berezney with whom she resided; her three daughters: Gail and Charles Zaborsky of Jackson, Angela A. and Bernard Bagdzinski of Toms River, and Jo Ann C. Berezney of Helmetta; her five grandchildren: Jaclyn, Danielle, Brian, P.J. (Karl) and Holly Ann.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Cecelia's Church, Iselin. Entombment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
