Joseph C. Vecchiarelli, 81, of Lakewood, passed away at home on March 13, 2020.  He was born in NYC on November 4, 1938.  He had resided in Fords for 55 years.  Joseph was a retired Bookkeeper from RZO Records and formerly NBC Records in NYC.  Joseph was a graduate Kearny High School, Class of 1956, and a graduate of Seton Hall University, Class of 1972, were he was the President of the Student Council.  He enjoyed fishing in the Manasquan Inlet.  He was a fan of the NY Giants and Seton Hall Basketball. He was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Metuchen and was in the choir for 32 years.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth (nee Huyler)  Vecchiarelli, of Lakewood; a daughter, Donna Vecchiarelli, of Brick; a son, Joseph J. Vecchiarelli, of Jackson; and two grandchildren, Joseph and Candice.

Visitation will be Sunday 2-6 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral Services on Monday are private.  Interment will be 12 Noon in Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Metuchen.
