Joseph M. Strucich, 33, formerly of Fords, died suddenly on Saturday October 1, 2011, at home.

Joseph was born in Ft. Riley, Kansas, lived most of his life in Fords and has resided in South River for the last 2 years.
He was a graduate of Woodbridge High School Class of '96.
He was working for many years in sales with a firm in South Plainfield specializing in medical devices. He was an avid fan of the NY Jets, NY Mets, NY Rangers, the Boston Celtics, and sports in general.

Joseph is survived by his father, Joseph A. Strucich and his stepmother, Valerie of Fords; his mother, Roseann Lipman and his stepfather Robert Lipman of South River with whom he resided; his sisters, Jessica Strucich of Phillipsburg and Brooke Strucich of Fords; his nieces, Haley and Alyssa; and nephew Matthew; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Ernestine Strucich of Manasquan; and his maternal grandmother, Patricia Early of Carteret. He will also be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, October 7, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords NJ 08863 followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, Fords. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Fords. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 6, 2011, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.
