Joseph Sharf's Obituary
Joseph Sharf, 86, of Metuchen, passed away at Cedar Oaks Care Center on June 8, 2014. He was born on January 13, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY. Joseph has resided in Metuchen for the last 31 years. He was a Designer/Draftsman for ITT Federal Electric in Paramus. He served in the US Army during WWII. Joseph enjoyed restoring artwork; he loved animals and was a kind and generous man.
Joseph is predeceased by his brothe, Albert Sharf, in 1943.
He is survived by his wife Kathryn Sharf of Metuchen; four sons: Howard, Matthew, Brian, Andrew Sharf and several grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 310 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840. Graveside Services will be on Wednesday at 1 pm in the Mount Hebron Cemetery in Flushing, NY.
