Joseph M. Marcin, Jr., 77, of Fords, passed on May 28, 2014 at RWJU Hospital in New Brunswick.
He served in the US Naval Reserves and was activated to the USS Harris, as a hospital corpsman
He worked for 35 years at PSE&G and retired in 1995.
He was an avid fisherman gardener and loved old western movies.
He was an usher and a member of the Knights of Columbus, at Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords where he spent many years volunteering at the school cafeteria.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Mary Marcin, his daughters and spouses; Jeanne & John Wilson, Tracy & Richard Taggart, Joanne & John Yanik, grandchildren, Ryan, Katie, Megan, Theresa, John and Brigid and his sister Harriet Tywoniw.
Services will be on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 10 a.m. from the Flynn and son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Clark.
Visitation will be on Monday, June 2, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
