Joseph Cucchiara, 57, of Edison, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at his home. He was born in Newark and has resided in Edison for the last 30 years.

He was recently employed as a salesman with Duplitron Inc. of Roselle. He was formerly employeed by Onboard Chemical Co. in Raritan Center in Edison; and prior to that, with AT&T of Holmdel as a Designer Engineer.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Janice (Casimiro) Cucchiara and his 2 daughters: Nicole and Lisa; his 2 sisters: Sheryl Cucchiara of Lyndhurst and Christine (& Dino) Spadavecchia of Newark; his brother, Thomas Cucchiara of Newark; and his mother-in-law, Mary Casimiro.

Funeral Services will be at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church Fords. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington .

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 1, 2010, from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m.

Contributions may be made in his memory to either the American Cancer Society or Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
