Joseph Caro, 90 of Fords, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2020 at Hackensack Meridian Health JFK Medical Center, Edison.  Born in Hopelawn, Joseph was a resident of Fords for 45 years.  He was a communicant of Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption, Perth Amboy.  Joseph enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He had a kind and generous demeaner and will be remembered by all.   Joseph retired in 1995 after 40 years with Elizabethtown Gas, Elizabeth as a Mechanic.  He also served his country proudly as a US Marine.

Joseph was predeceased by his wife Marie in 2018.

He is survived by his sons, Richard Caro and daughter-in-law Kathyrn, and Bruce Caro and daughter-in-law Colleen; his two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 9 AM to 9:30 AM at Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords.  We will begin to leave at 9:30 AM followed by a 10 AM Service of Devine Liturgy at Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption.  Interment will be in the church cemetery in Hopelawn.
