Obituary

Joseph S. Aragona of Old Bridge died Friday, July 5, 2013, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.

Born July 31, 1952, in Perth Amboy, he lived in Old Bridge for 36 years. Joe worked for the past 10 years for Middlesex County Board of Elections at the Voting Machine Warehouse. He was formerly employed at Carborundum in Keasbey. He was a life-long communicant of Most Holy Rosary Church in Hopelawn and active in the Boy Scouts of America where he was an Eagle Scout and Scout Master. He also belonged to the BPO Elks Lodge # 2229 in Old Bridge.

He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Catherine Aragona. Surviving are his sister, Donna Bender of Toms River; brother, Salvatore Aragona of Parlin; aunt, Julie Possert of Fords; nephew, Brian Bender and wife Mindy; niece, Faith Bender; grand-nephew, Casey and grand-niece, Karis.

Funeral Services will begin Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at 9:00AM from Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9:30AM at Good Shepard Parish - Holy Spirit Church, Perth Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visiting hours are Monday, July 8 from 5:00 to 8:00PM at the funeral home.
