Jose T. Pozo, 79, of Keasbey and formerly of Perth Amboy, passed suddenly on Monday, February 3, 2014 at the Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division.



He was born in Santa Clara, Cuba, moved to Perth Amboy in 1979.

Mr. Pozo will always be remembered as a very hard working family man, and a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is predeceased by his sister, Marta Cabrera.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 54 years, Emma Pozo, his beloved son, Jose R. Pozo and his wife, Rosie, of Sewaren and his beloved daughter, Maritza Rodriguez and her husband, Jesus of Perth Amboy and his four cherished grandchildren, Monica, Raul, Gabriel, and Julian and his devoted sister, Clarita Salvador of Miami Beach, FL

Funeral Services will be on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. from the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 424 East Ave. Perth Amboy, NJ 08861, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Mary's Church of Blessed John Paul II Parish, Perth Amboy.

Interment will follow in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 7, 2014, from 4 pm to 8 pm.
