Jose Batista, 66, of Perth Amboy
died December 24, 2010, at Raritan Bay Medical Center.

Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, Jose resided in Perth Amboy for the last 43 years. He was a steelworker with Carborundum, was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, and loved to play dominoes.

Jose is preceded in death by two sisters. He is survived by his former wife, Ana Collado, of Perth Amboy; former wife, Romona
Batista, of Perth Amboy; six children: Josefina Batista of Perth Amboy, Jose Batista of Belleville, Juan Batista of Santiago, D.R., Katherine Batista of Perth Amboy, Ramona Batista of Perth Amboy, and Joshua Batista of Perth Amboy; six grandchildren: Jose, Juan, Issaiah, Brianna, Justin, and Jonluis. He is also survived by four brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 9:30 AM from FLYNN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 424 East Avenue, Perth Amboy, followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Fatima. Interment will follow in Alpine Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 28, 2010, from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM.
