John Peter Ziolkowski, of Fords, entered into eternal rest on January 21, 2012. He is the son of the late Peter and Carol Ziolkowski.

John served in the U.S. Army from 1969–1971 when he was honorably discharged. He then resumed his post office career where he worked in both the Perth Amboy and Fords Post Offices. John enjoyed being on his route in Perth Amboy for many years and made many good friends. He retired in 2003 after 34 years of service. John was most recently employed by Miller's Rentals.
He was a communicant of Holy Spirit Church, Perth Amboy and a member of the Iselin American Legion Post 471.

John was a very devoted and loving family man who cared deeply for his family. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 38 years, Patricia (Molnar); his devoted and much loved daughter, Melissa and son- in-law Dominick Salerno of Fords; his two cherished granddaughters, Samantha and Riley; his brother, Michael of Phillipsburg; as well as other loving family members. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by two brothers, Daniel and Peter.

As per John's wishes, there will be no viewing. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at 10:00 AM at Holy Spirit Church, Perth Amboy.

In John's memory, contributions may be made to Holy Spirit Church.

John will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends.
