John Thomas Wright, 91, of Edison, passed away on October 26, 2025, in Edison. He was born in New York City on November 18, 1933. John was a Forklift Mechanic for Modern Handling in Edison for 25 years. He was in the US Army, 82'nd Airborne Division. John was very handy and enjoyed doing projects around the house. He was a fan of the NY Giants and Boston Red Sox.

John was predeceased by his wife, Audrey Wright, in April of 2025.

He is survived by two sons, Michael Wright, of Edison, and Mark Wright; and a brother, Edward Wright, of Edison.

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 2-4 pm at the Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 11 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
