John F. Winters, 61, of Edison, passed away at Raritan Bay Medical Center on June 7, 2017.  He was born in New York City on August 30, 1955.  He was a retired driver for TL1 Medical Transport in Edison.  John was a graduate of J.P. Stevens High School, Class of 1973.  He was an avid fisherman.

He was predeceased by his parents, John and Kathleen Winters.

John is survived by his brother, Daniel Winters, of Edison; three sisters: Mary Elizabeth and Ann Winters, both of Edison; and Kathy McQuail of PA; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, 4-6 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863.  Cremation will be private.
