Who?" M. Malinak

John "Jack Who?" M. Malinak, 84, of Edison, passed peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the Roosevelt Care Center in Edison. Born in Johnstown, PA, on December 1, 1940, he was formerly of Elizabeth, NJ, before his move to Edison, in 1963. He was a graduate of Bishop McCort Central Catholic High School with the Class of 1958, in Johnstown, PA.
John proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during peacetime. He was a retired Crossing Guard with the Edison Township Police Department for many years. Prior to his position as a Crossing Guard, he was employed as a Warehouse Manager with Allied Chemical Co. in Carteret and with the Edison Township Road Department. "Jack Who?" was an active member of the Edison Elks Lodge # 2487 and the Edison Italian-American Club.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Christina Pachuta, who died in 2021, and his parents, John and Anna Malinak.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Beverly Malinak, and his beloved daughter, Tracy Malinak.
Private cremation arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Flynn and Son/ Mitruska Funeral Home Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.
A Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date.
