John M. Stefanicha, 59, of Fords, passed away on March 13 at Robert Wood n Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was born February 20, 1958 in Perth Amboy. John resided most of his life in Fords. He was the Vice President of Operations for Active International. He graduated Woodbridge High School, Class of 1976 and the Ohio Institute of Technology in 1979. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church. John was a coach for Clara Barton Baseball and Bearcats Basketball. He was a member of the ROMEOs' and rooted for the Mets and Giants.

He is predeceased by his father, John Stefanicha, in 1984 and his sister, Susan Wittmann in 2015.

John is survived by his wife of 34 years, Patricia (nee Santacroce) Stefanicha of Fords; two sons, Nicholas and John Stefanicha, both of Fords; and a daughter, Emily Stefanicha of Jersey City; mother, Elsie Stefanicha of, Fords; sister, Elizabeth Nuss and her husband, Kenneth, of Wantge; many nieces and nephews, and many more close relatives who loved him.

Visitation will be Friday 4-8 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. Funeral services will begin Saturday 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10 am Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery in Metuchen.
