John Soos, 81, of Edison, passed peacefully, on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Care One at Somerset Valley, Bound Brook.
Born in Budapest, Hungary, he has resided in Edison for the last 52 years.
He was a veteran, serving in the U.S Army.
He retired in 2004, after over 38 years as a machinist with Johnson & Johnson in North Brunswick.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Maggie, who died in 2015.
He leaves behind, his two beloved daughters, Theresa Bjornsen and her husband Donald, of Piscataway and Amy Mastorou and her husband Frank, of Edison, and his three dear grandchildren; Taylor, Donald and Sophia.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm at the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave. Metuchen, NJ 08840.
Funeral services will take place on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. from the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, with Rev. Joseph Desmond officiating. Interment will follow in Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
