John Odroniec, 91, of Menlo Park Terrace, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy.
He was born in Newark and resided in Menlo Park Terrace for 55 years.
John served in the US Navy during WWII on the USS Ready. He was a Tool & Die Maker for 40 years with RCA Corporation in Harrison and Princeton, retiring in 1986. He was a communicant at St. Cecelia's RC Church in Iselin and member of the Catholic War Veterans.
John was predeceased by wife of 50 years, Lorraine (Szlachetka) in 2001. He is survived by his children, Patricia, Linda, Richard and Karen, and his beloved granddog; Sonny, also many nieces and nephews.
Cremation was private. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the chapel of St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River.
