John Emil Kiss, 81, of Perth Amboy, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Venetian Care & Rehabilitation Center in South Amboy. Mr. Kiss was born in Budapest Hungary to the late Janos and ILona Kis and came to the United States in1956 and resided In Perth Amboy. Mr. Kiss was a US Army Veteran of Korean war.

John was employed by Charles Schwarz in Piscataway as a security guard for many years. He was a member for over fifty year of the Hungarian-American Citizens Club in Woodbridge. Mr. Kiss was predeceased by his wife Rosalia on Oct. 25, 2017, a son James Kiss and a brother. He is survived by his three brothers, his four grandchildren, Tiffany Marie Kiss, Melissa Rose Kiss-Caputo, James Andrew Kiss and Cynthia Lynn Kiss, two great grandsons, Joshua Daniel Guzman and great Julian James Guzman, his niece, Margret Foldesi, and great niece Adrienne Foldesi.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 8:30 pm at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Visitation hours will be held Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Private cremation service will follow.
