Obituary

John "Jack" James Joseph Reiner

The man the myth the legend.

Jack was born March 5, 1960 to the sound of gears cranking and doo wop echoing in the distance. As the only son to his parents John and Marie and brother amongst his sisters Donna, Trish, Cindy, Vera, (and half siblings, James and Caitlin), working with his hands was in his bloodline. Growing up in the Reiner Bros. junk yard along side his father, uncles, and many cousins while later cutting class to work overtime in the Edison High auto shop. Jack made a living as a Diesel Mechanic at many shops over the years most notably Nixon and Campbell Freightliner while also running his own business, Tech in Mind Tool Sales/Tool Xpress on his off hours. Jack recently restored his pride and joy "Mitzy" the 1939 Ford Coupe among many other tinker projects over the years. When Jack wasn't hard at work, he was hard at work in the garage. Jack enjoyed his time off at home with his wife Tracy who never once left his side and always made sure his love for Italian food and R&R in his recliner was met. They enjoyed their time together and as a family on countless day trips and get aways in Midway Beach, Lavallette, Massachusetts, Lake George, NY, Pennsylvania and Florida. As a blended family Jack also had the unwavering support of his ex wife Cindy and her husband Panch. Jack was a wonderful and supportive father to his children, Laura, Jack (wife Jodi), Heather and Tyler. Jack was also a devoted "Pa" and "Poppy" to his grandchildren Meagan, Reese, Blake and Callie. Jack will be missed greatly by his countless family members, friends, coworkers and customers. In his honor please attend your local car shows and rev an engine for Jack. We appreciate each and every one of you for all of your love and support during his journey. *Raise an extra spicy Bloody Mary* Ohhh boy - Get em' hog!"

Jack's eyes will be donated to a recipient in need on behalf of his granddaughter Meagan.
