John Giblin,74, of Carteret, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the Savita Group Home in Piscataway.  He was born in Bayonne and was a lifelong resident of Carteret.  John was a communicant of St. Joseph's R.C. Church and a member of the Carteret Specials.  John was an avid sports fan and loved all the teams in the New York and New Jersey area.

John was predeceased by his father, John Giblin.

John is survived by his mother, Margaret Giblin (nee Gallagher); his sister, Kathleen Keating; niece Kelly Rodriguez and her husband, Jose; and niece Caitlin Rynkiewicz and her husband, Robert.  He was the adoring and loving Great Uncle of Jayce, Aiden and Brynn.

John was laid to rest next to his Dad at St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia.
