John Manuel Dominguez went home with the Lord on the morning of September 25, 2021. John Manuel Dominguez was born on August 18, 1947 in Puebla del Caraminal, Spain. He was the eldest son of Juan Dominguez and Manuela Martinez. John had three siblings, Josefina (deceased), Esther, and Antonio Dominguez.
John came to the United States as an immigrant in 1965 at the age of eighteen years old. He married his beloved wife, Edith Aurora Vargas on November 25, 1967. John and Edith would've been married 54 years this November 25th, 2021. In 1977, John was proud to be sworn in as a United States Citizen.
Those who knew John knew he was a hardworking man, he worked as a professional welder and pipe fitter for the majority of his life. John loved to read and study history, as well as the bible. He also enjoyed building custom wooden ships.
No matter what day you were having and no matter how you felt, John would lift your spirits up. He was fun, lively and full of laughter.
John was a devout man of faith since 2010 and his testimony impacted many lives. He was an active member of Monmouth Worship Center in Marlboro, New Jersey since 2014.
A loving father to three daughters, Michele, Veronica, and Marisol. As well as a grandfather to three grandchildren, Marc, Michael, and Myara Gomez. John also had two sons-in-law, Marco and Hector. Together this family celebrated life, laughing, eating, and traveling, making the best of memories.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2021, in Monmouth Worship Center located on 37 Vanderburg Road, Marlboro, NJ 07746. Interment will follow at Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy, NJ.
