John Paul Blaho, 87 years, of Keyport, NJ, passed peacefully, on Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Complete Care Rehab Center in Holmdel.

Born in Perth Amboy and was formerly of Matawan, he had resided in Keyport for the last 3 years.

He was a veteran who proudly served his country in the US Navy.

He was retired from the City of Perth Amboy Department of Sanitation, where he was employed for over 32 years.

He was a member of the Magyar Hungarian Reformed Church of Perth Amboy.

He was predeceased by his wife, Helen who died in 1990.

He leaves behind his 6 beloved children, Deborah Diken of Fanwood, Joseph Blaho and his wife Beth of Manalapan, Lori Wagner of Woodbridge, Lynn Lund and her husband Robert of Pennsylvania, Sharon Morciglio and her husband Jason of Maine, and Barbara Blaho of Matawan, also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 4 great - grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 3 pm until 6 pm with a prayer service at 5:30 pm at the Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave. Fords, NJ 08863.

Funeral Services will take place on Friday, morning January 31, 2025, at 11:30 am at the Magyar Hungarian Reformed Church 331 Kirkland Place Perth Amboy NJ 08861. Interment will follow in Alpine Cemetery, .
