John Beshak, 64, passed suddenly at his home in Palm Springs, CA on November 9, 2015.
He was predeceased by his parents, John (1973) and Pauline Beshak (2000).
He is survived by his sisters, Janet Naclerio (Peter) of Emigrant, Montana and Ann Marie Sorg (Robert) of Metuchen, his brother, Kenneth Beshak (Bonnie) of Fords, his loving nieces and nephews and lifelong friend, Rose Donaghue of Watchung.
John was born on June 17, 1951 in Coaldale, PA. He grew up in Carteret, where he had been a parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, attended their grammar school and was a graduate of Carteret High School with the "Class of 1969".
He began his career in the travel industry, as an agent in N.Y. City, in 1973. John was drawn to the travel business because of his own love for travel. His career spanned 43 years, which included management positions, in NY City and American Express in San Francisco. His customers loved his calm manner, patience and attention to every detail. He will be remembered for his love of baseball and his San Francisco Giants. He also enjoyed cooking, classical music and especially spending time with his family and friends. John will be missed by everyone who knew him.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church in Fords. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Local arrangements are under the direction of the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, Fords.
