John J
Aniolowski
May 28, 1944 – March 15, 2024
John J Aniolowski,79, passed away on March 15, 2024 at the Lyons VA Hospital in Bernards Township.
Born and raised in Perth Amboy, John was a loving husband and devoted father, and doting grandfather. After high school he entered the military where he honorably served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. In 1975, he married the love of his life the former Monica Grega and they were blessed with two beautiful children. He loved to go fishing. Any morning you could find him at the boat basin in Perth Amboy, or heading down to the pier at the Earle Naval Station in Colts Neck to see what he could catch. He was delighted in watching his grandson John, and spent countless hours sharing his passion for fishing, learning about computers and just spending time and riding around with him.
John will be terribly missed by his dear wife of 49 years, Monica; his daughter Marnie Aniolowski; son John Aniolowski, his wife Sherrie; his grandson John; and his sister Marie Chismar; his nephew Michael Chismar and great niece Lilee Chismar.
Friends may call on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 11:00am until time of services at 12:30pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords. Interment will follow in St. Mary of Ostrabrama Cemetery, East Brunswick. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that donations may be made in John's name to the Historical Association of Woodbridge Township, PO Box 83, Woodbridge, NJ 07095 (www.woodbridgetownshiphistory.org/Donations).
