Joao J. Ramos of Whiting, NJ, formerly of Edison, passed away at HMH JFK University Medical Center in Edison on Saturday, May 24, 2025. He was 66.

Born in Portugal, Joao had lived in Edison for 30 years before moving to Whiting. He was the former owner of BBQ Luso in Perth Amboy.

Surviving are his wife, Kathleen (Grimley) Ramos, daughter Kristina Ramos and brother Pedro Ramos.

Family and Friends may visit at Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 4-7 pm with a prayer service at 6:30 pm.
