JoAnne M. Bodo, 59, of Sewaren, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Bodo was born in Perth Amboy to the late Charles J. and Theresa M. Bodo and had lived all of her life in Sewaren.

JoAnne was a homemaker. She was the caretaker for her mother, before her passing, and also for her brother John. In addition, she was also employed by Walmart.

Surviving are her son: Frederick Gall of Sewaren, and his father Frederick G, Gall, her brother: John Charles Bodo also of Sewaren, her sister: Suzanne Mecka and husband Joseph of Manahawkin, her niece :Dana Bodo Porcelli, and her daughters, Leah and Paige, her niece Cher-Lynn Mecka and her niece Kaitlynn Mecka and her children Caroline and Anthony and also by her companion, David Heidler.

A memorial service will be held Saturday 6:30 pm at the Mitruska Funeral Home, Inc., 531 New Brunswick Ave., Fords. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects Saturday from 4 - 7 pm. at the funeral home.
