Joan H. Yarusevich Yaremko 76, of Fords, entered into eternal rest Wednesday November 30, 2011 at her home.

Joan was born in Woodbridge and was a life-long resident of the township. She was an Executive Secretary at American Smelting and Refining Co. for 57 years before retiring in 2010. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Perth Amboy and a member of the mother's guild at the church. She was also a member of the Fords and Keasbey Senior Citizens, the Clara Barton Social Club, the Emblem Club chapter 351, and AARP.

Joan was predeceased by her husband, John Joseph, Jr., in 1999 and is survived by siblings Margery Pomykala and her husband Robert of Whiting, Carol Sansone and her husband Robert of Edison, John Yarusevich and his wife Marlene of Lauderhill, FL, and Alan Yarusevich and his wife Carol of Naples, FL; 8 nieces and nephews and many great- nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2011, at 10:00 am at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ followed by a 10:30 am service at St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Cloverleaf Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, December 3rd and 4th from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to St. Peter's Church.
