Joan Weigel, 76, of Woodbridge, died September 2, 2012 at Raritan Bay Medical Center. Joan was born April 19, 1936 in Perth Amboy, living there for many years before moving to Woodbridge. She was a graduate of St. Mary's High School, Class of 1954. She was a homemaker.

She was predeceased by her husband Philip Weigel in 1981. She is survived by her son Bruce Weigel and his wife Donna of Edison; daughter Jill Hendrickson and her husband Larry of Milltown; two grandchildren, Lauren Hendrickson and Michael Weigel; niece, Jane Kirkwood and nephew George Weigel.

Cremation will be private. Arrangements are by the Flynn and Son/Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Ave., Metuchen, NJ 08840
