Joan Helen Belcher, age 76 Stockertown, PA, died on Wednesday at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was born in Newark and resided in Perth Amboy before moving to Stockertown 11 years ago.
Joan was a homemaker who devoted her time to her family. She was a Deacon and choir member at the first Presbyterian Church in Perth Amboy, a member of the Presbyterian Women and a volunteer with Meals on Wheels.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Raymond E. Belcher who died in 2002.
Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, David A. and Cheryl Belcher of Le Roy, NY and Stephen J. and Debbie Belcher of Middlesex, NJ, her brothers, Ernest E. Langkowsky of Glen Ridge, NJ and Robert Langkowsky of California and her sister, Linda Kotchkoski of West Orange, NJ. Also surviving are her three grandchildren, Ethan, Damon, and Haley, her three nieces, Kim, Kris, and Keri and her two nephews, Charles and Christopher.
