Joan A. Richter's Obituary
Joan A. Richter, 80, of Edison, passed away on May 7, 2014, at Whispering Knoll in Edison. She was born May 20, 1933, in Brooklyn, NY, and resided in Wantagh, Long Island for many years before moving to Edison. Joan was an amazing mother and wife who was full of love. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading, painting, cooking and sharing her smile with the world.
She is predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Fred J. Richter. She is survived by her daughter, Christine J. Richter of Edison; her two grandsons, Alex and Max Tanner; and her brother, Gorden Buck of Spring Hill, Florida.
Cremation was private. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 10:30 am, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 445 Old Post Rd, Edison NJ 08817. Arrangements are under the direction of Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Avenue, Fords, NJ 08863.
