Jo Ann De John, 61, of Perth Amboy, passed away on June 22, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Rahway. She was born in Perth Amboy on July 20, 1958.  Jo Ann resided in Iselin, before moving to Perth Amboy. She was a Beautician for Professional Hair Design in Woodbridge. Jo Ann was beloved by her clients and co-workers at the salon. She enjoyed helping others. Jo Ann was a graduate of Perth Amboy High School Class of 1976.  She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City.

Jo Ann was predeceased by her parents John and Helen Lewkowicz; and her brother, John Lewkowicz.

Jo Ann is survived by a daughter, Candace De John, of Iselin; companion, Warren Schabses, of Elizabeth and his brother Elliott Schabses, of Maplewood; former husband, Garry De John, of Whiting; a brother, Joseph Lewkowicz, of Toms River, and nieces and nephews.

Cremation was private.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford, Ave., Fords, NJ 08863.
